Utah's Boutique Injector Academy

Aesthetic Injector Training in Utah

The Injector Collective Training Academy is Utah's boutique training destination for licensed medical professionals entering the aesthetic medicine industry. Based in Lehi at the heart of the Silicon Slopes corridor, our academy serves injectors from across Utah (including Salt Lake City, Provo, Orem, Draper, American Fork, Spanish Fork, Pleasant Grove, and Park City) as well as students traveling from Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming.

Our courses are led by Dr. Ben Tracy, MD, along with a faculty of active aesthetic injectors who run their own practices at our Lehi medspa. That means you're learning from people who inject every single day, not academics, not reps. Dr. Tracy is the author of The Tracy Technique™, a peer-reviewed upper-face neurotoxin method published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. We teach Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and the full Juvederm and Restylane filler lines with hands-on live model practice every session.

Who we train. Our programs are designed for Utah-licensed RNs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and dentists who want to enter the aesthetic medicine industry, whether you're planning to launch your own practice, join an existing medspa, or add injectables to an adjacent specialty. Our upcoming class schedule fills quickly; most courses cap at 10 students to guarantee real instructor time with every injection.

Beyond the certificate. Graduates of the 2-Week Shadow Experience often go on to join The Injector Collective platform as independent injectors, accessing our turnkey suite model, group purchasing, medical director coverage, and marketing support to launch their own aesthetic practice without starting from scratch. If you'd like to see how the full ownership model works, browse How It Works or the Income Calculator.

Easy to reach from anywhere in Utah. Our training facility is in the Lehi Tech Corridor just off I-15 at exit 282 (SR-92/Timpanogos Highway), adjacent to Thanksgiving Point. Drive times: Salt Lake City ≈ 25 minutes, Provo ≈ 15 minutes, Orem ≈ 12 minutes, Draper ≈ 15 minutes, American Fork ≈ 8 minutes. Free on-site parking. SLC International Airport is 35 minutes away for out-of-state students.

Frequently Asked

Training FAQ

Answers to the most common questions from prospective Utah injector students.

Who can take Botox and filler training in Utah?+
In Utah, only licensed medical professionals can legally inject Botox or dermal fillers. This includes registered nurses (RNs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), physicians (MDs and DOs), and dentists. All of our training courses at The Injector Collective are designed for these licensed practitioners. RNs and LPNs must inject under the delegation of a supervising physician or other qualified prescriber.
How much does Botox training cost in Utah?+
Our Utah-based Botox (neurotoxin) training course is $1,095 for a full-day intensive that includes anatomy, injection technique, live model practice, and certificate of completion. Filler training is $1,095 for our focused lip filler course, $1,795 for the comprehensive two-day midface and lip dermal filler course, and $4,500 for our two-week shadow mentorship program.
Where in Utah is the training held?+
All training courses are taught at our flagship Lehi medspa at 139 N Hunters Grove Lane, Suite 125, Lehi, UT 84043. We're located in the Silicon Slopes tech corridor, easily accessible from Salt Lake City (25 min), Provo (15 min), Orem (12 min), Draper (15 min), and American Fork (8 min). Free on-site parking with immediate freeway access from I-15.
Do I need medical experience to take aesthetic injector training?+
Yes. You must have an active medical license (RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, or DDS) to enroll. Our beginner-to-intermediate courses assume you're comfortable with injections and basic patient care but don't require prior aesthetic experience. We teach the anatomy, product knowledge, injection technique, and patient consultation skills from the ground up.
How long is the training, and do I get certified?+
Duration varies by course: one-day intensives (lip filler, neurotoxin, lower face advanced), two-day comprehensive (dermal filler midface and lips), or a two-week shadow mentorship. Every course includes a certificate of completion. Utah does not require a state-issued aesthetic certification to practice, but completion documentation is often required by medical directors, malpractice carriers, and employers.
Do your courses include live model practice?+
Yes. Our hands-on neurotoxin and filler courses include live model practice under direct supervision by Dr. Ben Tracy MD or a senior faculty injector. You'll inject real patients (not mannequins) so you leave the course with genuine hands-on confidence.
What's the difference between a 1-day course and the 2-week shadow program?+
One-day and two-day courses teach a specific technique (e.g. lip filler, neurotoxin) with live models and certification. The 2-Week Shadow Experience is a full mentorship program: you shadow Dr. Ben Tracy MD and our injectors across dozens of real patient consultations, inject under supervision, and get exposure to the business side: pricing, marketing, medical director relationships, and practice operations. It's designed for injectors planning to launch their own aesthetic practice.
Can I take training if I'm from outside Utah?+
Absolutely. We regularly train injectors from Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and beyond. Salt Lake City International Airport is 35 minutes from our Lehi training facility. If you need lodging recommendations, we're happy to share local hotel partners near Thanksgiving Point and Silicon Slopes.
Do you offer advanced or continuing education courses?+
Yes. In addition to our beginner and intermediate courses, we offer advanced modules including lower face neurotoxin (platysma, chin, masseter, lip flip) and can schedule private one-on-one advanced sessions on request. Our monthly Bo|Talks seminars are free continuing education for the injector community on evolving aesthetic techniques.
